Symposium participants can now train to become a Facilitator wherever they are in the world. No more waiting until an in-person Facilitator Training is scheduled in your area–because we’ve just released a new online orientation to presenting the Symposium.
What’s Covered in the Online Orientation?
In addition to downloadable versions of the Facilitator Manual and other resources from the in-person Facilitator Training, the new online offering features four new videos:
- An Introduction to the Symposium: Its origin, purpose, and four key questions.
- Getting Grounded as a Facilitator: This section helps you understand where the Symposium comes from–a space of possibility and transformation and being in touch with what’s possible.
- Facilitating the Symposium: An exploration of the core skills that are a key part of any successful Symposium–speaking from the Manual, leading exercises, and creating space.
- Putting It All Together: how to transition from reading the Manual to hosting events.
Whether you’re a seasoned Facilitator or newly trained, check out the online orientation, as the new content offers something for everyone.

In-person Facilitator Trainings Will Continue
Our in-person Facilitator Trainings will continue to happen across the globe, offering a rich and deeply valuable transformative opportunity. The online orientation is an additional way to take part and share the Symposium with new communities in a more accessible, lower cost, and less time-consuming way.
