Ecuador, the country where the call for the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium in the world came forth, has embraced the Initiative in full force. The first group of Facilitators trained last fall has produced nearly 30 Symposiums to date.
The team, aptly named ‘Los Caminantes de la Nueva Tierra’ (walkers of the new earth), are inspiring people around the world through their activities. Just last week they presented a Symposium to the Minister of Environment for the country and their goal is to reach the President by the end of the year. They also have the opportunity to train students to facilitate the Symposium to help spread the message through universities and youth action groups. In addition to the hearty activity in Ecuador, they have they have also taken the Symposium to Peru and Chile, and we're beginning to hear an ever louder voice from Latin America in our world wide community.
Another booming region is South East Asia where the symposium has reached the Philippines and now Thailand, in large part due to the actively engaged Hong Kong Hummer Facilitator group.
