The first México Facilitator Training took place last month in Cuernavaca, and 21 new facilitators have enthusiastically joined the worldwide Facilitator Body. Colibríes Tejedores de Luz - Hummingbirds Weavers of Light – come from México DF, Puebla, Cuernavaca and greater Morelos, Sonora and Bucerias, Nayarit. Most are already deeply engaged in changing the dream. A shared concept was that they could integrate Awakening The Dreamer into work they are already doing. Among them are educators, farmers, artists, healers, social and environmental activists, psychologists, and entrepreneurs. All are Spanish speakers eager to carry the urgent message of “Despertando el Soñador, Cambiando el Sueño” throughout México and beyond. They are already in contact with other Spanish speaking facilitators in Ecuador, Perú, Argentina and the United States.  The training was convened and organized by Erik Friend of Cuernavaca and Beatriz Pineda of Puebla. Primary training responsibility was held by Tracy Apple and Sarah Martin. Erik and Beatriz took major roles in leading the training, as did Nando Ausin.  Erik and his wife Griselda hosted the entire training in their beautiful home, including housing most of the participants and feeding all of them. Erik and Beatriz have volunteered to be national coordinators for “Cambiando el Sueño” Mexico.
