On February 7th, Pachamama Alliance kicked off a new phase of collaboration by hosting a call connecting local Pachamama Alliance Communities and Move to Amend Local Chapters from Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Marin.

Facilitators of the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium have discovered that the easiest way to find new opportunities for delivering Symposiums in their communities is to partner with local organizations that already share values expressed in the Symposium.

A great organization for this purpose is Move To Amend, the national organization working to amend the constitution of the United States to remove the influence of large money and large corporations in our political process. Move to Amend is already a partner with the Pachamama Alliance, as a Game Changing Movement identified in the Up to Us engagement pathway. There is enormous potential for local chapters of Move to Amend to work with Pachamama Alliance Communities in the same region to collaborate and support the growth and success of both organizations, in a variety of ways.

As this collaboration unfolds, we will continue to keep everyone up-to-date. In the meantime, we invite Symposium Facilitators to think how this conversation and connection with other organizations could support their work and to share those ideas with us. To learn more about this conversation and how you can get involved, read this blog post.
