As Fernando Kojin, Country Coordinator for Brazil, would say “The Awakening the Dreamer Program was born in Brazil yesterday. It was a very special day and we will remember it for a very long time”

Fernando, along with other committed facilitators, brought forth the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium not just once, but twice in Sao Paulo Brazil this month. They have been working really hard to offer these events, including translating the entire Symposium into Portuguese. Their leadership and commitment gathered more than 30 participants together to experience the first of these events and 20 at the second.

As reported by one of the facilitators:

“It was a blessing! It was a dream coming true. We will be very successful in Brazil and we will awaken thousands of people and hopefully find lots of facilitators. I'm really happy and excited to be a facilitator and be part of Awakening the Dreamer and a change agent.”

Brazil is one of the many examples around the world in which collaboration shows its powerful results. Starting with just one facilitator, the initiative soon spread and has resulted in a series of events and a community being born. This is a great illustration of how a community and local movement can start, from just one inspired person!

The Brazil Community will be very busy over the next few months. They will be hosting symposiums in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Florianápolis, as well as a Facilitator Training in Sao Paulo in May. Keep an eye on the event map for upcoming details about the events.

Our gratitude and awe goes out to the Pacha Community in Brazil, and the many people who have contributed to its success. Your unstoppable energy continues to inspire us all!
