Our Annual Luncheon is already one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s biggest nonprofit fundraising events, bringing together over 1,500 people in person and hundreds more online, and once again we find there is even more interest in attending than last year.

Thanks to community feedback, we have a pretty good idea of the reasons why this event keeps growing. We thought we’d share a few to get you excited to join us on November 14.

There’s Never Been a Better Time to Attend than Now

This year's Luncheon will be like any other! The Pachamama Alliance is unveiling "Up to Us," the next era of our transformational education programs. With "Up to Us," we will empower and mobilize citizens with the knowledge and tools necessary to take action for a just, sustainable future on our planet.

Watch the luncheon from wherever you are via live stream, and you will be one of the first people to see what our new program has to offer. We've been working on "Up to Us" all year and we can't wait to share it with you!

You Will Have Fun

Creating a new way of life can be challenging, but like any creative endeavor, it will also be a lot of fun. Especially when you have passionate, talented co-creators you can count on as allies.

Our Annual Luncheon is the perfect place to connect with new and old friends who share your vision and values. And that goes for online guests, too–whether you choose to host a Luncheon viewing party or add your comments to the lively conversation on our live stream chat!

You Will Leave Inspired

Every year, the Luncheon stage is filled with inspiring speakers, who have included:

  • Courageous indigenous leaders from the Amazon
  • Our co-founders Lynne and Bill Twist and John Perkins
  • Special guest speakers like Van Jones, Paul Hawken, and Dan Wieden of Wieden + Kennedy, the global advertising firm behind Nike’s “Just Do It” campaign

During his time onstage at the Luncheon in 2008, Paul Hawken declared: “I think [The Pachamama Alliance] is the most important single NGO in the world right now, because it’s changing the one thing that can change everything… our minds and our hearts.”

The Number One Reason to Join Us on November 14

Of course, that kind of transformation in people’s minds and hearts is something we don’t do alone–our community makes it possible with the way they stand for a conscious, committed way of life wherever they are.

The greatest reason to join us on November 14th is this: to inspire yourself with what is possible because you are alive at this moment. And you can inspire yourself in so many ways:

  • Volunteer at the luncheon.
  • Join one of the many events we've planned to supplement your Luncheon experience.
  • And if you can't attend in person, you can always join the live stream.
