[VIDEO] Lynne and Bill Twist Give Mid-Year Update

July 29, 2011 | By The Pachamama Alliance

Every summer, co-founders Lynne and Bill Twist meet with our Stewardship Circle donors (those who have made a commitment of $5,000 to $100,000 per year for three or more years) to give them a Mid-Year Update on the work of The Pachamama Alliance.

Now, we’re thrilled to be able to share videos of the 2011 Mid-Year Update with our wider community.

Celebrating Accomplishments, Looking Ahead

This year’s event took place in June at Berkeley Mills, a premium and sustainable hardwood furniture maker and the workshop of longtime Pachamama supporter Dave Kent in Berkeley, CA.

For your convenience, we’ve split the evening’s conversation into two halves. The first video is an update on our work in the global south, including:

  • our partnership with the Achuar and our other indigenous allies;
  • our expanding work on Rights of Nature.

In the second video, Bill and Lynne give insights into:

  • our Awakening the Dreamer and FOUR YEARS. GO. programs;
  • and the deep social justice inquiry in which we are currently involved.

We are so grateful for your partnership in helping make this work possible.
