Possible Futures Film Contest Announces 2011 Winners

We’re thrilled to announce the seven winning films of the first annual 2011 Possible Futures Film Contest!

A team of esteemed judges screened the top 20 nominees to select the winners of the Grand Prizes, and the contest's global online community cast over 14,000 votes to determine the winners of the five People’s Choice Awards.

In its first year, the Possible Futures Film Contest has been a phenomenal success for The Pachamama Alliance and FOUR YEARS. GO. Filmmakers from 44 countries submitted 317 films, and thousands more people voted and shared their favorites.

On Monday, July 25th, The Pachamama Alliance hosted the Possible Futures Film Contest awards ceremony. Over 140 people filled the Delancey Street Foundation Theater on a breezy San Francisco evening to watch and celebrate the winning films and nominees.
