Remember how you felt after your first Symposium? Or when you decided to step up and bring the vision of a just, thriving, and sustainable future to your community?

Most of you became Facilitators after experiencing the power of the Symposium firsthand and feeling moved to share its message with the world.

But whether you’ve been delivering Pachamama workshops for a week or many years, it can be hard to stay motivated and keep investing time into producing amazing events. To keep you inspired, here’s a list of our top 10 ways to stay engaged:

1. Work in Partnership

Work together with other Facilitators to create Symposiums in your community, and stay in touch with the people who attend your events.

2. See the Bigger Picture

Remember that you are contributing to the creation of a critical mass of conscious commitment with every Symposium you deliver, host, or otherwise make possible.

3. Value Your Impact

Spend time with the people who go through your events - see what you’ve been able to bring them and how they see the world differently. Alternatively, call someone or a small group who just did a Symposium and ask them to share what’s different for them now.

4. Re-inspire Yourself

Take some time to review the videos or the Awakening the Dreamer Gaiam DVD to re-source yourself.

5. Feel Grateful

Pause during the day to bring your awareness and gratitude to the people who lived on the land before you, and express gratitude to Pachamama - Mother Earth herself.

6. Acknowledge Yourself

Acknowledge all that you have accomplished so far and feel proud. Consider what you have achieved out of your commitment to spread this message of justice, sustainability, and fulfillment.

7. Set Goals

Goals can be a great way to keep the momentum going, either for yourself or your community. And committing to accomplishing certain things by a certain time is a great way to practice keeping promises and maintaining integrity.

8. Remember

Reflect on what shifted for you in your first Symposium, and/or how you started participating with The Pachamama Alliance, and share that with someone. How did you feel? What did you realize?

9. Journal

Write a note or keep a journal for your great-great-great-grandchildren letting them know what you are doing and why. Alternatively, write down three things you are grateful for that happened that day.

10. Keep it Fun!

Most of you began spreading this work because it fulfilled you – and because it was fun. Don’t make it another “job,” and have fun with it!
