A New Era for Awakening the Dreamer
Pachamama Alliance’s flagship educational offering, the Awakening the Dreamer program, is moving into an important new era with the release of a new Awakening the Dreamer Online Course. The new Online Course makes the messages and videos of the 4-hour, in-person educational workshop, the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium, available in a self-guided, under-two-hour online format.

The Awakening the Dreamer program is available as a half-day in-person workshop and now as a 2-hour self-guided online course.
The in-person Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium first offered in 2005, has enjoyed success in 81 countries and has been translated into 16 languages. Its bold goal: to create a critical mass of people committed to bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on the planet. To date, hundreds of thousands of people have participated in live Symposiums all around the globe.
Now, at the 10-year anniversary of the Symposium, the Awakening the Dreamer Online Course has become available to anyone with access to the Internet. It presents the messages and videos of the Symposium in an online format that can be experienced by individuals or groups—on their own schedules, in their own homes or workplaces—in under two hours.

Participants in the Online Course have the opportunity to reflect on key questions and submit journal responses that replace the small group interactions and exercises of the in-person Symposium. People can take the Online Course in one sitting, or break up the experience into smaller units over a period of time.
At the end of the Course, participants can engage with the Pachamama Alliance’s other programs focused on transformative education and effective action including, the Game Changer Intensive; Pachamama Alliance Communities; and Game Changing Movements.
What About the In-person Symposium?
Does the Online Course make the in-person Symposium obsolete? Far from it! The live Symposium includes a series of personal activities, interactive group exercises, and an experience of community that simply is not possible in an Online setting.
People who take the Awakening the Dreamer Online Course will likely be eager to also share in the live experience, inviting family, friends and other members of their community to participate with them. Groups that already exist, such as schools, churches and synagogues, and even business environments are additional ideal settings for the live Awakening the Dreamer Symposium.
The message of Awakening the Dreamer is more relevant than ever in these challenging and changing times, and we are thrilled at the opportunity to reach a virtually limitless, diverse internet audience.
