Nearly 1000 San Francisco Bay Area high school students participated in a newly designed assembly based on the work of the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium and Generation Waking Up.

The Pachamama Peninsula High School Project (PPHSP) was a joint effort between the Pachamama Alliance and Generation Waking Up to bring the Symposium into three high schools- Castilleja, the Menlo School, and Sacred Heart Prep.

After a group of high school leaders from these three schools were trained to lead the WakeUp in April, the PPHSP team designed and led a 50-minute assembly for the entire student body at the Menlo School and Sacred Heart.

The feedback was tremendous, hugely informative, and paved the way for a reproducible high school assembly that could be disseminated across the country in coming months.
