The Awakening the Dreamer Program Team is a small, but active one. Recently, there have been some exciting shifts and additions. Please join us as we celebrate the contributions of those leaving and welcome in the newest members of the team!

New Administrative Assistant

In October, we were joined by our new administrative support extraordinaire, Liz Crampton. Liz joined Pachamama after attending a Pachamama monthly gathering and Awakening the Dreamer symposium. Having studied anthropology, Liz has an interest in indigenous cultures as well as non-profit background in sustainability. Prior to this, Liz was working in the learning and development sector and has been actively volunteering for the last 10 years in various museums, galleries and youth work initiatives.

Originally from London in the UK, Liz came over to experience life on the West Coast in early 2011. She is responsible for updating our social media, newsletter, tracking program metrics and generally providing support to the active ATD team.

Liz says "I am extremely excited to join the team at Pachamama. It's been a busy but great couple of weeks so far and I'm glad to be making a contribution to all of our big events coming up very soon, from the annual luncheon to the Super Symposium in November! I am looking forward to working alongside you all in the future and am very happy to be a part of this great movement for change".

Baby Leo

In August, Emily Hittle, long-time Awakening the Dreamer team member, and her husband Tim, welcomed their second son, Leo, joining their other little one, Henry. Congratulations Emily and Tim! Welcome Leo! A few words from Emily:

"I wanted to let you know that we welcomed little Leo Benjamin Hittle into the world this morning. He weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and is doing fabulously! Here is a picture of him on his birthday. The birth experience itself couldn't have been better. We were surrounded by loving people and I was able to have him in the comfort of our own home with no complications whatsoever. One of life's many great miracles!

Thank you again for all of your thoughtful and loving wishes these past months. They paved the way for us to have yet another wonderful beginning."
