Many facilitators have been asking for a way to help Symposium participants get engaged sustainably. There is now a new post-Symposium one-day workshop available for this purpose: the Getting Into Action workshop. It focuses on creating a personal action plan to bring forth an environmentally sustainable, socially just and spiritually fulfilling world.
Participants will have the opportunity to clarify what their specific and unique role might be in bringing forth a new dream, and to begin to identify the structures, practices, information and resources that will express and sustain them as agents of change.
When Will Workshops Be Available?
The workshops will be debuting in various roll-out events across the US. Right now, they are planned in San Diego (November 2011), Seattle (December 2011), New York (January 2012), and Boulder (January 2012).
How Can I Attend a Workshop?

How Long Is the Workshop?
The workshop, like the symposium, can be tailored to suit your needs. It has been designed to be one day long, but there are clear notes in the facilitator's manual, highlighting exercises which could be extended or added, for a two day workshop.
Who Can Present the Workshop?
The workshop can be led by any trained symposium facilitator who has attended the Getting into Action workshop as a participant —no extra training is needed. If you are interested in facilitator training, then please also visit the Events Map for one near you. When you’re ready to galvanize your community, add your own event to get involved!
How Can I Get the Workshop Presenters' Manual?
If you have attended the workshop and would like a copy of the workshop manual so you can deliver it, or if you have any further questions, please contact ruel@pachamama.org.
