The global challenges we face today have inspired a new era of cooperation among organizations committed to forwarding an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on Earth.
Pachamama Alliance is actively reaching out to organizations and institutions to invite them to bring our Up to Us engagement pathway to their constituency. One result of these outreach activities was the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) hosting an Awakening the Dreamer Symposium on October 9th in San Francisco.
CIIS is an accredited institution of higher education that strives to embody spirit, intellect, and wisdom in service to individuals, communities and the Earth. With its personal learning environment and supportive community, CIIS provides an extraordinary education for people committed to transforming themselves and the world. CIIS and Pachamama Alliance collaborated to promote and host the event. It was a great experience and I recommend that all of our volunteers look for local partner opportunities. Tapping into other networks enables us to further the reach of our programs and it makes it more fun and easier to host and promote our events.
This is a first step towards what could be a partnership for life! Our next step is to start exploring if we can offer the facilitator training or the Game Changer Intensive for credit. This would allow the Up to Us pathway to be part of CIIS’s curriculum.
We at Pachamama Alliance understand the value of working together and that’s why we are developing the support, tools, and resources that can help you connect to groups in your local area. We are currently working hard to build that support.
