Celebrating Trailblazers - Symposium Now in Romania!

Reaching New Territory

When the ATD-CTD Symposium reaches a new country it is because of YOU!

Someone attends a Symposium, gets inspired, gets trained and equiped to present (see the Presenters Kit), and then takes the Symposium to a new land.

Last month, thanks to ATD-CTD Facilitator Alexandra Postelnicu, the Symposium found its way into Romania for the first time! Alexandra led a circle of diverse participants through the Symposium, sparking conversations spanning from unexamined assumptions to the separation we place between the human race and the natural world.

Reaching Across Cultural Lines

Some Facilitators may identify with the challenges of translating the Symposium across cultural lines. Alexandra points out, "Romanians pace of life is noticeably slower than the American," making some aspects of the Symposium difficult to identify with. Though, ultimately participants discovered that despite any cultural differences, the Symposium sends a universal message: What happens elsewhere, be in the house next door, down the block, or across the ocean, matters to them in their small circle too.

Thank you to Alexandra and all the trailblazers who are opening doors, (and countries!), to the ATD-CTD Symposium.
