After just four weeks, the Possible Futures Film Contest reported:
- 46 submitted films,
- 227 registered filmmakers,
- and a presence from 19 different countries.
With 194 countries represented at the U.N., that means we have 175 to go to make this contest a global conversation.
But if you tell two people, and they tell two people… the contest will soon become a showcase for the ideas, people, and ways of living that could shift our direction toward a more positive future.
Of course, charting countries is only one basic way of expressing the impact of this contest.
Ultimately, our hope is to tap into humanity’s collective wisdom and shared potential as the world’s greatest problem solvers, rather than its greatest problem creators.
Look for that collective wisdom to be on display as we begin posting films to our website in the next few weeks.
