The School of Movement Medicine's 72 Hour Dance of Love and Support

July 23, 2013 | By Dina Buck

We are honored to share this moving video with you.

Sent to us by the School of Movement Medicine's founders, Susannah and Ya’Acov Darling Khan, who are also featured on our Global Citizens Testimonials page, it features the gathering of 120 individuals who came together for a Summer Long Dance in Somerset, England this past July in celebration of life, unity, and love.

Ya'Acov and Susannah had invited three Amazonian tribal leaders from the Achuar, Shuar, and Zapara nations to come to the Summer Long Dance, but all three were denied visas. In response, the dancers recorded this message for them, and have also shared it with us.

In a stunning display of generosity, the dance raised more than £40,000 for projects, including more than £27,000 for The Pachamama Alliance.

We would like to thank Ya'Acov and Susannah, and all the dancers, for their support and generosity, and especially for being such an inspiring embodiment of the promise and potential humans have to create a world of love and spiritual fulfillment.

Ya’Acov and Susannah Darling Khan will be leading a Pachamama Journey called Dancing with the Heart of the World II from December 28, 2013 to January 11, 2014. It will be a deeply participatory journey, appropriate for those who have both experience with inner personal work and a commitment to being part of the solution in these critical times. Blessing and gratitude Susannah, Ya'Acov, and beautiful dancers, from the bottom of our hearts!
